Dana Digrispino is a seamstress who specializes in custom dress-making and costuming. Her private sewing studio is located in Mokena, Illinois.
Rose brought in her mom’s heir-loomed wedding dress and wanted to add her own modern touches to it. We kept the original lace bodice and made a custom horse-hair edged organza skirt with layers of tulle underneath. The cathedral length veil was edged with the original lace trim from her mother’s wedding dress. This was a special project to work on and I enjoyed making the poofy princess skirt Rose had envisioned for her wedding day.
